University College Northampton is a lively and ambitious medium-sized institution which has been located on its attractive, parkland campus in Northampton for over 25 years and involved in the town's education for nearly a century. It combines academic strengths and first-class facilities with a friendly and dynamic atmosphere. UCN has built a solid reputation for high quality teaching delivered within a caring, supportive academic community. At the same time, the institution has invested heavily in research which compliments and enhances the teaching provision.

UCN is based on two sites, some 2 miles apart. A £65 million investment programme over the last 8 years has ensured that the facilities are of an extremely high standard. Recent developments have included new on-campus Halls of Residence with 1,632 single study rooms, the majority of which have en-suite facilities.

Park Campus is a leafy greenfield site, set in 80 acres of parkland on the outskirts of town with lots of open space as well as shops, library and student services. Avenue Campus, located one mile from the town centre, also has student residences, shops and library and, in addition, boasts first-class facilities for art, drama, graphic design and fashion.

We offer over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and diplomas in a wide range of subject areas. These include applied sciences, arts, business & management, computing & technology, engineering, journalism, healthcare, law, media, psychology and sports science, many as either single or combined honours programmes.

UCN has a long tradition of welcoming international students. At the present time there are around 800 overseas students from nearly 100 different countries (excluding EU students) enrolled on our courses
