UWIC is currently (2004) ranked as the top new university in the whole of the UK by The Times League tables. This makes UWIC the second highest ranked university in Wales. Situated in Cardiff, the capital, UWIC is popular for international students due to its location in one of the best cities in Europre, its low fees, high graduate employment record, and student centered study programme. Teaching is our main activity and although like many universities we do undertake research and consultancy, it is not our primary focus. Our students are well looked after and many new entrants are recommended to UWIC by it alumni and current students.
